One of the most rewarding parts of the Ultimate Girls Getaway is seeing the power of women helping women. By every girlfriend in attendance, we are able to annually sponsor women survivors of war. The sponsorship is through Women for Women International that provides food, shelter, medical needs and education for an entire year.

We look forward to receiving the letters from our sisters letting us know how they are and how the program has helped their lives and in turn, their families and communities.   Below is a letter from Hassiba who graduated from the program earlier this year.  Due to cultural reasons we were unable to get a photo of her but we were so happy to receive this letter.  We wish her all the best and congratulate her on all her accomplishments in the program!

Saturday Night Little Black Dress Party!

The Little Black Dress Party is a Saturday night tradition at all of our Ultimate Girls Getaway events.  After spending the day bonding over entertaining and inspiring seminars and the night before in our PJs, on Saturday night we get dressed up!

Just add a delicious Fairmont dinner, entertainment and room full of women dining, laughing and sharing stories and the night is set for guaranteed girlfriend fun!  In Montebello, Funny Mommy, Kate Davis had us in hysterics with her stand up comedy routine as we snacked on desert and afterward we went to the Fairmont bar for a night cap and hit the dance floor!

We Are Recipe Ready!

Executive Sous-Chef Tim Wasylko, delighted, entertained and inspired us at his Sunday morning cooking class.  It was decadently fun and totally hands on.  We could not take him home but at least we got his recipes!! 

The Men of UGG!

Being an all girls event one could wonder, who can they be?  Every Ultimate Girls Getaway we eagerly look forward to seeing these very special men who make our weekend ever so delicious.  Being partnered with the Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, we know only the very best will be in attendance!

At the Fairmont Chateau Montebello, Executive Chef Serge Jost has been making our UGG Montebello menu as indulgent as can be, while Executive Sous-Chef Tim Wasylko treats us to his Sunday morning cooking class, which leaves us delighted, entertained and well-equipped for our next dinner party! (Recipes will be posted shortly) 

The Fairmont Chef, Sous-Chefs and kitchen crew are responsible for making every dining moment the very best and we cannot thank them enough for spoiling us all weekend!

UGG Montebello 2009 Sponsors 3 Women Survivors of War!

Thank you to all the amazing women who were able to attend the Ultimate Girls Getaway in Montebello! Through this incredible weekend, we were able to sponsor 3 more women survivors of war. 

Each sponsorship provides food, shelter and medical aid for women in war torn countries such as the Congo, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Kosovo, Sudan, Rwanda, Iraq, Columbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina for an entire year.

Blog Dedication to the UGG by Vered Haiun

At UGG Montebello, Vered held her Danseretok "Renaissance of the Goddess" class, which was such a hit that when the class was over the women wanted more!! 

Vered taught us to connect with our female energy and learn how to engage our eroticism through exercise, dance and mantra, which was not only totally empowering but a whole lot of fun!  

In honour of the incredible women Vered met at Montebello, she has dedicated her own blog entry on danserotek.com to them.  So many special moments were shared over the weekend and Vered definitely captures the essence of them in her kind words below.

This blog entry is a dedication to all the incredible women
I met at the Ultimate Girls Getaway at the Chateau Montebello.

I have to admit the tear ducts were very active.
Now, you have to imagine about one hundred
women ready to play hard for a week end.

I was honored to be one of the guest speakers there teaching
women how to rediscover the Goddess within through erotic dancing.

What a blast!

The energy that encompassed this weekend was one of love & connection.
Talk about being in my element!

We danced till dawn, brainstormed, laughed till we cried & shared stories till we cried.
Some of the stories will stay as unwritten ones!!! Hehehehe....

Fun, laughter, learning, great food, dancing, nature walks & very talented
women all coming together & bonding.
New friendships were formed and old ones were deepened.

I was reminded, while I was there, how important it is to spend time away, with just the girls.
Our busy lives no longer allow us to have those 3 hour coffee talks daily.
Nurturing my soul with great conversation, surrounded by intelligent, inspiring,
funny & loving women was exactly what I needed & I didn't even know it.

As I taught my workshop, the energy that was flowing around that room was nothing less than magical.  Each woman allowed that goddess to shine and it was beautiful...

So to all you Goddesses, I want to thank you for letting me into your lives... you have all touched mine!

UGG Montebello 2009: An Amazing Weekend!

The Ultimate Girls Getaway in Montebello Quebec was such an amazing weekend filled with fun, food, laughter, activity and women bonding! 

We want to thank all the incredible women who were able to join us. We reunited with many girlfriends and made so many new ones! 

Over the next couple of weeks we will be posting photos and sharing stories about this fantastic weekend!  There are so many memories to share so check in daily for updates!
