What's the number one New Years Resolution? Weight loss.
It's a never ending battle for many. I know because I used to be 35 pounds more than my present weight and started many a new years day in tears over my weight. I was one of the multitude of people who bought my fair share of diet books.
I knew that one of these days I would have the determination to finally get my waistline in shape. But it wasn't until I started visiting health spas and experimenting with recipes in my kitchen, that I began gathering knowledge that has changed my lifestyle and dress size.
I discovered how to balance the calories from the food I ate against energy expenditure. I also discovered many delicious dishes prepared by using alternatives to those ingredients that add fat to our bodies.
I'm happy to give away my books to share my knowledge with you in my second best selling book called Outrageously Delicious Fat-wise Cookbook. As a recipe developer for the American Heart Association I truly believe in their guidelines to eating and embrace them in my books.
If you or anyone you know has a weight loss resolution or just wants to be healthy and strong for 2009, I am giving away my cookbook with every order of Nadja's Organic Cookies and Macaroons.
Despite what many believe, good planning, not sheer will power, is the key to losing weight. When you plan your day-to-day meals to support your efforts, you will find it much easier to reach and maintain your target weight. With many delicious recipes from appetizers to desserts, my free book will help you do it. Plan on checking off next new years resolution as finally accomplished! I look forward to hearing from you and working on it together.
All the best in 2009!
Nadja
