Heading to Syracuse for the Gluten Free Festival!

On May 12th we will in Syracuse NY for Price Chopper's Gluten Free Festival.  We will be sampling Nadja's all-natural, organic macaroons and chocolate chip macaroons!

Nadja's Organic Macaroons - Gluten Free and Dairy Free

Last night I attended the graduation ceremony for the University of Buffalo, Minority and Women Emerging Entrepreneurs Program, where Nadja was the keynote speaker.  Even though I have attended her speaking events for years and get to hear a whole lot of her talking at home and in the office, I must say, I am still moved every time she gets in front of a crowd.  It was also such an inspiring event with the room so full of burgeoning entrepreneurs from all interests and industries.

During dinner I was talking with another guest about the holidays and the many dinners that there are to attend.  My favorite part of the holidays is definitely the get-together with the friends over food.

Last week she went to her girlfriend's dinner and had to bring a snack or dessert dish. The tricky part was that one child had a gluten intolerance and the other had a casein allergy, which is a type of dairy intolerance.  She went to the grocery store and could not figure out what to bring to the dinner to satisfy both children’s dietary requirements.  She ended up finding something that met her needs but nothing as exciting or as tasty as she had hoped. 

After discussing her challenge, we felt like we had uncovered the ancient secret to the age-old question, "What do I bring in a situation like this?"  The “ah-ha!” moment came with Nadja’s Organic Macaroons.

Our Macaroons are wonderfully delicious and will definitely delight any crowd whether there are dietary concerns are not.  But there is great comfort in knowing that they do meet these special dietary requirements without forgoing great taste.
